What would you do to make a better world; my family asks…how would you fix the world, I would do the following to create the best of all possible worlds if I could I would:
Make love grow now and forever
Give the littlest and weakest humans the most care
Support freedom of information, freedom of thought,
Independence of speech-support democracy
Celebrate the forests, revere the sky
Give smiles, not frowns to all
Love myself so I can love others
Show respect for all life on earth and in heaven
Accept and understand all humans, even those with different opinions
Wade at the edge of the water with reverence
Share and communicate clearly, and be most generous
Enjoy the highest forms of music, literature, and art
And love the land very well
Celebrate my family and say sorry for any hurts I caused
Explain to them that they are so very special and well loved
Support Love and Beauty to All!

I met a fantastic, talented youthful photographer Jessica Rouen on campus while she was photographing flowers on the lawn. She had a great 35 mm camera, and looked like she was proficient. I asked her to photograph me at work since over my entire 25 year career as a librarian I have not had many pictures taken of me as a working librarian. I have taken pictures of programs, visiting authors, crowds, referenced desks, and co-workers, but somehow I felt recently I neede to document my life’s activities. So this series at College of the Redwoods is a recent photographic journey viewing the beautiful library I have found myself in and what I do here.
Library of Congress is a great way to organize book collections.
The Learning Resource Center is expansive, modern, quiet and a great place for students to achieve mental focus on their studies.
